Quick amp question

Im Planning to use a alpine 2000w rms amp mono class d to run my 2 alpine type x, do you think this amp could run 2 subs bc its a mono? The type x are 1000rms at 4 ohms

But yeah just be sure to wire them right and you should be good.

that amp is 2ohm stable so if u want the most out of it and ur running 2 subs get 2 d2 subs and wire like so

if u get d4's u can only wire it to either 1ohm, 4ohm, 16ohm but 16ohm is not needed

with d2's u can wire it .5ohm, 2ohm, and 8ohm, with d2's u can wire it to 2ohm mono and get most out of the amp

i posted a pic on how to wire it, u wire ur subs just like that but the subs have to be dual 2ohm subs

well ur gunna have to wire it 4ohm because ur subs are dual 4ohm

i cant find any dual 2ohm type x's

4ohm on that amp gives u 1,200w or so and i dont have any experence with those amps so i dont kno if they will handle 1ohm loads daily or not but here is a wireing diagram on how to wire ur subs to 4ohm

Are the subs svc or dvc? If they are svc just wire + to + to + on amp and - to - to - on amp. That'll give you 2ohms or 2000w.
