Skullz Posted November 2, 2010 Report Share Posted November 2, 2010 Use either the both DVC subs or the 3 SVC subs and let it be until you can build a new proper system. Mixing and mismatch speakers and components will have places where the sound is either too powerful or lacking cause of cancellation. The best thing to do is to sit down and think through the system you want to build and each piece you need to reach your goal, do you want to use coaxials, components, also will you be going passive or active in a crossover network, the size and power requirements for the sub or subs. When i build my systems i like to use ratios as opposed to guessing on what to do, i use a 3 to 1 ratio of sub power to stage power so if i have 100 watts of stage power i need 300 watts for my subs power.
