Shyne151 Posted October 31, 2010 Report Share Posted October 31, 2010 do you have one in your vehicle? if it really that awesome. ive heard a lot about this model from viper but i have heard a lot about them in the past about their quality sucking ass. I had a 5901 on my car... I now have a 5902 with SmartStart on it. Both the 5901 and 5902 are great units... I do however feel I got more range out of my 5901 remote, but then again I get unlimited range with my SmartStart... and they just lowered the price of the SmartStart modules, we are doing them for $199 installed now. kickass audio Posted November 1, 2010 Author Report Share Posted November 1, 2010 what does everybody think of me getting an Compustar RF-P2W9000-SS instead of the viper 5901 or 5902 unit? I really do like the viper unit but its a little out of my price range. I was quoted to have the compustar unit installed for $450 with a lifetime warranty on parts and labor, all the accessory hookups, and everything else. Unless anybody on here knows where i could get an viper 5901 or 5902 for a pretty good price let me know asap. im going to put this in the second i get it since its getting pretty cold where i live.
