i'm running the planet audio bb2 2400 birth sheet on it says 2500 rms at 14.4v at 1 ohm. and i want proof that its all dirty power.

O scope and dmm, set the amp to the 2500 and use the o scope to see how clipped or not the signal is

well when my jeep is at idle does 14.4 14.8 at 2000rpm. i have my adjustable voltage reg set for those outputs. just because its not a sundown or crescendo or a rockfordfosgate doesnt mean its a bad amp

only they dont do rated power. I had a Planet vx2200d About 5 years ago, it worked for what i wanted but it didnt do what they said it did. I've dealt with a ton more planet amps, same thing they never do rated power and authorized are actually kinda expensive for what they are.

The only good thing about them is Planet Audio warranties pretty much anything.

I think Planet Audio and Boss are shit. Save your money for something better.

i havent had any probs with mine. and what proof do ya have that they dont do rated power?

Rated power means nothing if its a river of shit for quality.

MickyMcD - "Capable of making some serious trouser flapping volumes at where's-my-testicles frequencies, the Servo-Drives used to be fairly jaw dropping..."

Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through.
