im wanting to paint the interior trim of my car.

should i just follow the instructions on how to paint plastic sticky?

and im also wondering if this is a good idea or not.

theres nothing wrong with the trim now. i just want to paint it black

Im just wanting to paint it cuz it looks boring inside. its an 86. everything in the interior is in really good condition, ill put pics up when i get home

The sticky thread is about as easy as it gets. I tend to like using feather fill for the high build primer, but outside of that, follow those steps and you should be happy with the results.

What kind of g body? Monte, cutlass or regal?

I was also wondering about painting the dash to maybe a metal flake gray with clear coat for glossy awesomeness. I've seen some interiors look stock with just paint with glossy white and it looks clean.

Plus I wanted to cut part of the dash to make it easier when I want to mess with the back of the head unit, so painting would help hide the cuts (well, got to sand the cut areas anyway and figured I would paint it after and kill 2 birds with one stone)

I think it depends on the material of the interior swagg

Like, you can't really paint leather...I think...

i think you can stain or dye leather or something.

i think its possible to paint the trim. im not sure about the dash though.

its probly gonna be a bitch to try and get it off

Yes the dash can be painted... It will be a pain in your ass though just want you to know that up front so you dont go in it expecting it to be fun.. It will look nice when finished but wont come very easily TRUST ME :good:
