What's a good sub amp?

Recommended Posts

As the title suggests... What is a decent, yet not too expensive 120v subwoofer amplifier? I would like to get above 1200w power from it. My old sunfire sub has had it; Horrible tinsel slap, and the dust cap is coming undone... So I plan to build my own subwoofer system this time.

Soo... Yeah... Whats a good amp in the 1200 watt+ range at 120v, and whats a decent sub? I was thinking a fi btl 15 in a 14hz box

Man your going to have to do alot of reading. what kind of car are you planning on putting all this in. You realize that 14hz is below the human hearing threshold meaning you wouldn't get much sound out of the box. But a few amps that put out over 1200Rms as 12 volts are the Sundown SAE1200D, Kicker KX 1200.1, SX-1200.1, IA 20.1 etc.

I dont know about amps but I would do an Fi Q (or BL) in a T-line. would sound great and shake some stuff in the house.

If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood.

Do you happen to know a decent box designer for a t-line setup? Free would be best
