kjj913 Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 okay so i have an audioque 2200D amp and 2 15'' t3 t1000 subs. these are brand new and i hooked them up today at 4 ohms. but for some reason the sub isnt hitting to hard. i have 4gauge battery wire and 12 guage speaker wire. does any one have any suggestions like do i have to break these in or something im not sure.... How do the Japanese feel about bass?You know that since 03/11/11 Progene? I just saw that stuff on CNN. bobmcbob_345 Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 You realy don't need anything larger than 12 gauge for speaker wire. But 4 gauge for power wire!?gaahhh!!!! You should have a minimum of 1/0 for even 1000 watts. And you will most likely need a ho alt

kjj913 Posted November 4, 2010 Author Report Posted November 4, 2010 i only have my main battery so far i didnt buy my agm battery yet. but like with 1 guage wire, where do i get a fude holder that will fit 1 guage wire into it? and i was wiring it at 4 ohms Veng.

corey0928 Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 Why do you have 2 different size wires for power and ground? Just curious. I would suggest 1/0 wire and at least 2 new batts 1 front and the other in back. Maybe a new alt as well
