With two diodes i was getting 16.3 cold after a few weeks so i took one of them out for fear of burning up my ECU and also until the car warmed up and it dropped below 16 my highs amp wouldnt even come on !! Good Luck and do with caution !! Oh and you are correct , they do cause a .5 to .7 voltage drop , which fools the alternators voltage regulator to increase output by that much !! Thats the easiest explanation !!!

We have had severe thunderstorms for 4 days straight, since my mother lives by my shop, i took the time while watching and waiting out the weather out here, since my mom has a storm cellar , to work a little on the rear deck, i got my 8" templates found and got them out, in the process of mocking up where they will go and getting ready to pour last layer of 'glass on the bottom of the deck mold so i can start cutting baffles tomorrow and start to glue the 8" baffles into place, oh and also dug out my connector so i can get the wires out of my ports so it dont look so ghetto !! Excuse the mess in the shop, storming so had to throw it all in there !! Will add to 6.5's on each side also. Oh , and does anyone know what the actual cut-out size is for a 6.5 speaker ?? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Finally get rid of those dam speaker wires in my port !!!

anthonyott99 Posted April 28, 2011 Author Report Posted April 28, 2011 Well guys i wanted to do something awesome with the mounting of my 100 watt highs amp for my A-pillars but im running out of time and have to get back to the rear deck build so instead of mounting just the internals i just mounted the whole thing on the roof of my glove box so i still have some storage space !! I will cut the hole in the side for the fan once i get to the shop tomorrow and use my hole saw !! Hopefully have the Tang Bands playing Amp'd soon !! Oh SNAP !! I am seeing the perfect place for the Flying White Sausage !!!!
