anyone have any expirience with these things? i wanted a 15" sub or 2 and my friend works for a audio store and told me he can get me a discount on them. just wanted to know how good they are and would they be better than my 2 12" type R's or not. he said he can get them for me ( 2 15" MOFOs ) for $134 each.

anyone think that they would be better than what i got? or think they are a good woofer?

i would keep the type r's over any power acoustik sub. the amps are good, the subs are iffy.

lol, if the aplines are gonna be louder and last me longer....shit ill deffinately keep them. im in the process of making a new box for them. ill have the complete build up 2morow for those of u who wanna watch it and check it out. im gonna paint the box to match the interior paint of my car and the rim color should be nice lookin. even puttin a alpine custom logo i made on it.

HAHA, that's what I thought. Oh well, I should invest in something better.
