so you're saying everyone on your team has to think exactly like you? i have level 3's and they sound perfectly fucking fine with 13-14sqin of port per cubic foot.

Actually his minimum should be 153.66 sq inches of port if you want to run 5 LVL 3 10s tuned to 34 hertz. You do not calculate port area by the volume of the box, you calculate it by the xmax of the woofer. Every woofer needs different amount of port.

I appreceiate the responses about the xmax shit, but I don't compete or anything. It's just daily and demo is all.

And yeah i'll sell the lvl 5 and 1 of the sundowns. I'm going to start working my ass off at my job to be able to fund this too. I can't wait either!

So you told care about having the correct amount port??? It doesn't matter if you compete or not, if you dont have enough room for the proper port area then go with less subs and the proper port area.

Totally correct.

If you did just one less sub so you could have proper port, and with this proper port you would be louder then the 5 with insufficient port.

SOME SUBS DONT LIKE 12-16sq in of PORT!!! Just because Fi recommends it for there subs doesnt mean its universal for everything!!!
