kickass audio Posted November 7, 2010 Report Share Posted November 7, 2010 Hello all, so my co-worker asked that i take a look at his viper 160xv remote start/car alarm system to see why that when he locks and unlocks his doors that it does not honk his horn like it used to. I know that you can do so in programming mode but when viper says to turn the key and press the vallet button, there is no vallet button. His remote antenna only has the antenna itself, no buttons built into it nor is there an emergency disable switch. does anybody on here know how to get into programming mode for this system so i can re-enable his horn honk feature that he wants when he locks and unlocks his doors? The brain is right under his center console in plain sight and the wires are very easily accessable.
