I'am stuck between paint job, and rims, or sound system up front only looking to spend about $2000 The thing is, with that much money I can do subs, amps, wiring, front stage- all quality stuff OR I can do my dream paint job, flat black clear- Matte black, and matching rims I really want 20 - 22" Rockstar rims, and throw low pros on them, not use them as 4x4 rim/tires, but the price for used Rockstar's, or new is out of the budget- For now. Later when I get the rest of the money, I will be completing this package. The truck already has I believe its a 4"-6" front back drop- I forget, so I cant do really big rims. 22" I would be pushing 265/35 if I do 20"s 275/40 series work great I like this scheme alot, and have way before that big and ron show or whatever it is http://www.doobybrain.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/mercedes-ML-matte-black.jpg Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.

TeamHT Posted November 14, 2010 Report Posted November 14, 2010 I honestly would do the paint job first. I have well balanced cars with audio, rims, bagged systems, and paintjobs. If Alaska had enough, I could compete in a bassrace then drive right over and do a car show. Point is this, in my experience the outside has to match the project. I hate seeing quality installs in shitty cars. And you can buy audio equipment piece by piece. Subs here, couple weeks later amps, and so forth. You cant paint a car piece by piece or buy one rim now and then another a couple weeks later when you get paid again. My vote is for the paint and rims.
