danterakin Posted November 15, 2010 Report Posted November 15, 2010 I just bought a PPI ProArt 50. I was wondering if anyone can probably lead me to the right direction on how to get this fix. The amp turns on, it is not in protect, when adjusting gains, speaker moves (static with some bounce). Problem I am having is that it is not receiving any signal from the RCA's. I looked at the board and through a small hole and saw good connections on the board where the RCA's are soldiered onto. Any suggestions or ideals on what is going on? Please let me know where I can start diagnosing the problem. STEvil Posted November 15, 2010 Report Posted November 15, 2010 unless you opened the amp you didnt inspect the through-holes on the board for the RCA's well enough. Pop off the bottom cover and give it a look properly. MickyMcD - "Capable of making some serious trouser flapping volumes at where's-my-testicles frequencies, the Servo-Drives used to be fairly jaw dropping..." Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through. Hammerdown... 1% no links to outside websites, business related FB/YT pages allowed.
