FreekDesignz Posted November 15, 2010 Report Posted November 15, 2010 (edited) I have a box and I'm doing a flared slot port the inside specs are 14"wide 9"tall 14.75"long So can I do 14x9x9 and split it into a T. Each side would be 5.75" long and 9" high. Would that effect the tuning? If so by how much? uhoh_45 Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 (edited) if you are talking about a box like this you need to make sure you take the middle port in this case 7" and divide by 2 for the rear ports so it goes 3.5 into 7" like this not like this hope this is what you asked if not i dont know Edited November 16, 2010 by uhoh_45 Quote R.I.P! skittlesRgood Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 i cant visualize what your trying to describe. are you trying to cut port length? are you putting a port in between the subs so they will be in their own chambers? maybe you should make a pic. and when you list dimensions dont change the order, or if you do, list L W H: 3w x 5h - 5x3. makes it very confusing. FreekDesignz Posted November 16, 2010 Author Report Posted November 16, 2010 Like the 2ed pic. The port won't be divided in the middle only at the ends Quote ♠ FreekDesignz Demo Collection ♠ Everything You Need To Know About Car Audio Torres' Box Tuning Calculator

I have a pic but my phone crashes every time I try to upload. And my home Internet is down.
