thorshammer Posted November 18, 2010 Report Share Posted November 18, 2010 I just wanted to say a huge thanks to Matt at Mechman! I got the alt in and its working like a champ. First thing I noticed compared to the Irragi is the difference in physical size. The Mechman 270 is a good bit bigger even though its rated at 50amps less than the Irragi. Did some testing yesterday on the ride home for voltage drops on music and was crazy impressed. Playing music 1 click below my burp volume and was not dropping below 14.4v. Voltage recovery was instantaneous and for the first time ever (compared against 3 diff alts in car) I'm showing the same voltage at my batt bank as I am up front. Its always been .2-.3v diff front to back. Matt at Mechman has a serious product that all should try! Thanks again Matt!!!!
