Arnold55 Posted November 21, 2010 Report Posted November 21, 2010 I want to change out all my stock speakers, should I replace them with all stock size speakers or should I get something else. I have 6.5 in front and 6x9 in the back. Also what brand do you recommend. I want them to get loud but not distorted and also sound good at low volume. Quote
tsuch20 Posted November 21, 2010 Report Posted November 21, 2010 I have Boston Pro components and couldnt be happier with them. They get super loud. Rated 125RMS each 250 for a pair. Arnold55 Posted November 21, 2010 Author Report Posted November 21, 2010 in my old work truck I had put some 6.5s in and the bass sounded really bad, my new daily driver stock speakers sound wayy better. Is there something i have to do before putting in the speakers such as sound deadener? Quote
Socky Posted November 21, 2010 Report Posted November 21, 2010 Look into crescendo, image dynamics, rockford fosgate, focal, hertz, selenium. All the decent brands i think of on top of my head.
