rboudreaux77
I want to put another XL 15 in my trunk but the most air space I can figure up and still get the box into the trunk would be like a little over 6cuft total for the subs to share so around 3cuft each. The website suggests 3.5cuft so will this hurt the sub or affect performance? Next time there is a crank it up around here I wanna do trunk 1001-up and I need at least a 143.7db to get a 3rd place state record and I just did a 140.0db with 1 15 on 1000 watts so im thinking it within reach Quote http://www.dcsoundlab.com/ 2008 Chevy Impala (Daily Driver) Pioneer touchscreen w/navi 1 DC XL 15" (around 4cuft ported box) 1 AQ2200 1 AQ90x4 Memphis MClass 6.5s (front doors) Memphis MClass 6x9s (rear deck) stock alt & front batt; 1 Red top in the trunk 139.2db sealed (on my old JL1000/1) 140.0db outlaw (on my old JL1000/1) 1992 Chevy S-10 Ext cab. OrionStang
Yup. .23 each. OP, i've got 2 xl 15's in just a touch under 6 cubes after displacement. They are getting about 3k watts each though. What amps are you using? Quote SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread

n8ball2013
if you are dead set on it id think the aeros would have to be used. a slot port is going to eat up major space. probably close to 2 cubes. then .23 for each woofer and well you got a real small box. I bet theyd take a shitload of power then though lol Quote THERE IS NO BUILD LOG! 1998 Chevy Silverado ext cab Alpine CDA-9887 4 Team Fi 15s 2 Ampere Audio TFE 8.0 2 Ampere Audio 150.4 3 Digital Designs CS6.5 component sets Dual Mechman 370XP Elite alternators inbound! 8 XS Power d3400 6 XS power d680 Second Skin Stinger Tsunami Wiring Sky High A Real Voltmeter not a piece of shit stinger. rboudreaux77
So with aeros in a trunk which way should I point it or them? And have one or mort ports? I always did slot ports so I don't know much about aeros and then just measure the box as if it were sealed or would I count the port too?
