What's the nominal impedance? Is it the 3500D or the 3500D.1? Is this the only amp?

To stay above 14v on regular music(50% or less bass notes) you're gonna want one good alt and at least 2 group 31 batts.

If you wail on it constantly like you're trying to blow something up, you'll need a second alt.

im going to disagree on the second alt. unless its full tilt for the whole commute lol. i think the one 250amp alt and two g31's like you said should do just fine. 2 runs of 1/0awg.

i had two 1500's at .5ohm and an alpine pdx150.4 on my 270amp alt, g34 yellow top, and two G31's and i stayed above 13.5v if i remember correctly.

If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood.

Why you gonna say you disagree with me then turn around and agree? Lol I say wail like you're trying to blow something, you say full tilt for the whole commute. Same concept really.

I agree, no need for dual alts. But a single Mechman 270 charging a nice starter battery, and an XS Power D3100 with 2 runs is more than enough.

Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

I could make 2 group 31s and a group 34 on a DC power 270sp drop to 13's with 2 aq2200s at 2 ohms strapped. He'll need more then you're suggesting. All brand names aside.

Either alt, I prefer DC.

2 group 31 batteries, XS or deka 9a31, they're the same thing, and consult the alternator manufacturer about voltage modules.
