Gramma Brenda Posted August 28, 2007 Report Share Posted August 28, 2007 Hello everyone...Gramma Brenda First .. let me start off by telling my son-in-law how geat i think he is. He's "GREAT"!!!!! Thank You Steve for your support and love. We are a proud and loving family. Thank you to daughters and other son-in-law for all yiour support through this ordeal. I love you all so much. Mihelle and my other daughter Kristi drove up to Reno Nev. where i reside on Friday evening. I was surprised with Steve's envelope containing $200.00 in donations from people I don't even know. Surprised in 2 ways. One that, steve did this on his own, not even michelle knew, and two that so many of you responded. I feel as though my family grown. These days you don't find many people that will dip into their wallets for someone they don't even know. Hopefully one of these days we may meet at one of Steve's car shows so that i may thank you personally. I called Steve on sat. morning, crying my eyes out and could'nt thank him enough. Now i cry as i write this letter. I am proud of my family and their endevours to my life easier. As my medical bills are mounting due to no health insurance, this money is going towards helping to pay some of those bills so may continue my treatments. My hair is falling out after one session of chemo. I have decided to donate my long hair to Locks of Life...a children's organization that takes real hair donated and makes wigs for them . Michelle cut the 10 inches needed of my head this weekend. It makes my heart feel good that I could give something back. I could go on forever. I just wanted to let you all know how thankful and appreciative i am to each and every one of you. I will never forget you. I have read all the letters and i am very lucky to have your support.
