Hoecard Posted November 30, 2010 Report Posted November 30, 2010 What should i run on my FI SSD 12s im gunna be doing 4 of them i have the AQ 2200d right now but it takes so much current. I was thinking of buying the T-1500 for 350. What do you guys think? Will the T-1500 not clip as much as well as not as much of a voltage drop?

hdorre Posted November 30, 2010 Report Posted November 30, 2010 AQ: gain knob, strappable, clipping indicator on gain knob, pretty new, can talk directly to DJ (big boss) RF: bass boost (bad), not strappable, almost same power at 2 ohms, has a longer history Both amps put out clean power. You may get a little bit more from the AQ at 1 ohm, but more from the RF at 2 ohms. Hoecard Posted November 30, 2010 Author Report Posted November 30, 2010 ok so i do have a irragi 220 amp and a kinetik 1800 up front. and when i had my btl 18 with the aq 2200d it would clip bad and my bass boost is all the way down and gain is about half... my buddy said the RF is more efficient witch would be better...

I've seen quite a few of the local boys do that

If you have access to an O-scope get that then scope your h/u and then at your amp. and do you have the big three done? and and for the 350 you would of spent on the rf get a D3100. you should be more then fine with that for that amp and also the "gain" doesn't have a set point for all setups it depends on the output voltage of your hu.also your filter setting will affect clipping too and i'd look at your hu for sure Suburban Coming Soon
