I have a friend with 2 yellow top optimas I think he wants to sell. Even if you have to buy them 1 at a time, I would go with XS. you arent going to find a better battery for the money.

I just recently got the yellow top from a guy on craigslist about a week and half ago don't want to lose money getting rid of it you know and i cant sell anything yet or i would have several thing posted already.

No. Do NOT use 4 guage for a 2500.1

do a run of 0 gauge from front to back battery. 4 gauge is rated for a maximum of i think 150 amps.

(correct me if im wrong). do it right and use 0 gauge please.

under construction

I hate People with crappy primered cars rolling on hubcaps that are louder then me.

pure OFC 4ga will do 150amps @ 20ft, cca 1/0 should handle ~250 amps, OFC 1/0 should take 375 amps.

from how i read it it sounds like they took 2 runs of 4ga and ran them in a distro block in reverse -[fuse]--<======>--- instead of --[fuse]-----<== . if its cheep 4ga or cca 4ga you are looking at ~120 amps or so per run.

if you where not ~4 hours away i would come help you out.

15" FI Q @ 1600 watts

box by DL Designz 2.8^3ft @ 32hz

saz-3000D @2 ohms

sax-100.2 @4 ohms

front stage - polk momo's

1/0 pos and neg runs to the back.

a crap ton of sound deading from secondskin.

143DB sealed on the windshield.

Isnt that neil barbers shop? If so he should know better than to use 4 gauge for anything over about 1500w. Man trust me you have alot of knowledge posting here and telling you to use 0 gauge, trust us you wont regret it. It is going to be a few more dollars but will be well worth it.
