micah_jones Posted December 7, 2010 Report Share Posted December 7, 2010 I used Rustoleum and it worked fine and looks fine. Idk about the lowest temperature though I did mine in a heated garage. I put a couple coats of clear on mine to make them glossier. It wasn't bad before the clear, but when the truck got a little dirty you could tell. Remember to wet sand the lights before application and lightly wet sand again before the clear. zachfowler222 Posted December 7, 2010 Report Share Posted December 7, 2010 i used nite shades, i put a shit ton of coats on so i have NO red tint to it, its just jet black...... i waited for every layer to dry, cleaned really good , then wet sanded 1000,1500, then 2000 then applied another coat and did those steps for 8 coats then i buffed my tail lights and they are shiny ass reg brake lights and super glossy I SCAM PEOPLE OUT OF MONEY...
