No PB 4k? nope. the woofers would never hold the power anyway. im gonna have to turn the colossus down to keep the subs together now. remember the fi bl is only rated for 1k rms in a ported enclosure. thermal power handling goes down in sealed. the bigger you go sealed the less power handling you have. basically, im gonna have to be really careful with the amp ive already got....... Rection Posted December 19, 2010 Author Report Posted December 19, 2010 played on the meter a bit. number isnt quite where i want it to be yet, but of course im not finished yet either. still gotta round over the port, do some tuning, and finish sealing off around the wall. i think its gonna be really loud by the time im done with it. i will give a little hint though..... with both front windows down at the headrest, already at a 149+ there. plays all frequencies from 32hz to 70hz within 1.5db this thing is awesome. gains big time letting the windows down compared to sealed. so far the loudest dash number is with both doors completely open........... would be great for db drag psychlone classes, maybe even drive by.
