Need amplifier rec. for Warden 15 !!!!

Electrical system is 220 amp mechman alternator, XS power D2400 up front, two XS D3100's in the back for an IA warden 15" in a 4.5 cubic foot box tuned to 34 hertz. I want to give it as much clean power as my electrical can handle. Do you guys think a sundown 3500d is capable of giving 3000 WRMS or even more clean?

yes should be closer to 4k clean with that electrical..

make sure ur setting ur gains with a ddm.... or that subs a short life span

You need to factor impedance rise, but the 3500d is a good choice and i would add another battery.

(it will produce more then rated in a controlled environment, but not in a car connected to a subwoofer. )

This is Jacob's actual clamp test of the SAZ 3500

SAZ-3500D:

POWER : 3660 Watts

AMP VOLTAGE (measured) : 65.84 V

AMP CURRENT (calculated) : 55.58 A

ACTUAL IMPEDANCE (calculated) : 1.18 ohms

SUPPLY VOLTAGE : 11.9 V

If you do straight math, the 3500.1 (if doing exactly rated) is putting out about 298 amps worth of current, and Jacob's test shows the SAZ3500 putting out about 307 amps worth of current. So the SAZ is going to put out more power and do well over rated at 14.4. This also depends on your box rise, but both amps are going to be affected by that.

YOu see that impedance of only 1.18 ohms?

Means it was wired to 0.5 ohm or something below 1 ohm or he has used a great box that has almost no box rise.

Or he has just played one tone where he has virtually no box rise.

And when you play music impedance varies a lot, so he won't see the 3500W, but he will never notice it.
