02 Silverado Extended Cab rear bench to bucket seat conversion question...

sorry if this is in the wrong section... anyways....

I have a 02 Silverado 1500 and want to remove my rear bench seat and put in two bucket seats. I plan on putting in a custom console that runs from the dash all the way back to the rear window. Anyways has anybody done this or know what seats would fit in back with little modifications...

I am actually doing the same thing to my crewcab. Closing off the blowthrough and getting my bed back. my back seat is sectioned just right so that I can just cut the center out, add to the frame (to the floor) and just reupholster the sides of the seats(close off where it was cut with the existing material from the center. console will run from dash to the back window:) was looking into replacing back seats with matching buckets (like the front) but at about $500 for a decent pair, F%$K THAT, cutting my factory rear seat. Upholstery shop said they would charge about $100 to fix the seats once I cut them apart.

Extended cab? Full size? Important information here...

Anything is possible. Little customizing? Not really an option. Everything would have to be custom, from the mounts, bracket, seat belts, to the center console. Although honestly, the console is going to be the most work. Seats should be easy, you just need to map it out and do it.

And just find very similar bucket seats to install. I did this in my SRT (recently sold...T_T) and had to hack away in order to get the brackets mounted.

i would really like to do this in my truck too, great way to get bass, keep seating and bed space.

it thought of doing the same thing, cutting the back seat and having it re-apolstered.

im on GMFS and on there they said that for the CC gm's the tahoe rear buckets are a direct swap
