kingsuv
gonna do the sprinklers? I just seen your pm. Im down, your gonna have to come get me though, and right now, all my work tools are in turlock, we have to plan it out in advance if you wanna do it next weekend call me early next week, so I can bring home my work tools. I can get the heads(fire sprinklers) I just need an Idea of how many you think we might need, to figure this out, draw a box scaled to the building, measure out 7 feet off the wall and then every 8 foot after that until the you get to the outside wall, then do the same thing the other direction. just guessing from the pics, about 15 to 20 heads, Is there a water line in the building I can tap into as of now? any heat sources? water heater? Stove/fireplaces, hvac ? how much atttic space is there ? do you wanna cover that? any permits or anything like that you have to build by? lmk so I can figure out what I need to do it right. Bout time you got back to me. No fireplaces, heaters, stoves etc. No permits either The whole building is 20 x 30 the shop part is only 20 x 22 So that leaves 20 x 8 open to the second floor. The second floor will be storage for now. Later I will pull the roof and make it a full second floor. Let me see if I can scan the ele plan I have into the computer and post it. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.

kingsuv
I have a little more progress. I had to open the door from 8' to 12' and frame it down to 12' for the roll up door coming next week. Had to pull back the metal to open up the framing then reattach it. I will reuse the metal I took out to span across the top. I also got the rest of the floor down, and added the face for the stairs. I have the stingers for the stairs but I have to wait until the track for the roll up door is in place to make the landing. I didn't snap any pics, but most of the electrical is ran today as well. kingsuv
Got a window put in today. This took longer to cut the damn metal then it did to frame and hang the window. It's got a covered overhang down the side where I wanted the window, so of course that was a pain in the ass to deal with. Forgot the camera today so crappy cell phone pics it is.
