kingsuv
Damn, you people in cali dont play. I wish I had a garage 1/32 the size of that and I would be happy. This project has been 2 years in the making, and if I'm lucky, I will be building in it by the 1st of the year. I currently work out of a FULL 2 car garage, anyone that has seen it will tell you it ain't easy working on a box for 16 subs in the space I got. Designing, building, and shipping boxes. Yahoo IM - kingsuv00If the listening level is too loud, please inform the driver, so he can promptly pull over, and let you out. not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.

kingsuv
So the Excursion is now my work truck Without a system, I have plenty of room for tools. I laid Asphalt, (Grindings actually) earlier this month. And had the floor trusses delivered yesterday. So the plan is to make this into a 2 story barn and raise the roof so we can store shit up there. I still have to frame in a couple of windows on the far side and I'm going to open the door from 8' wide to 12' wide so we can put in a roll-up door. Then the boy and I are hanging trusses tomorrow. kingsuv
Its getting there any reason to to go with those trusses verses just getting some 2x12s or is the span to long The upper section will support a storage load (90 psf) not just residential live loads (40 psf) After I hang them all, I will sheer wall the whole thing as well. I hung half of them today before my fatass got too hot. The boy and I will get an earlier start tomorrow. Designing, building, and shipping boxes.
