QuinnGallagher Posted December 13, 2010 Report Posted December 13, 2010 so i have this dilemma, i plan to run an audiopipe 3000.1d on 2 fully loaded Fi BL 18's. i just have no idea what battery i should go with to make sure this amp is doing rated+ im torn between the kinetik hc2000 or the kinetic hc16v. i know the 16v is only 1600amps but its also capable of running at 16 volts, and since the amp is rated at 14.4 i was thinking that 16v would be a good plan. but as i did more research i realized that maybe the hc2000 would be better. but idk. im doing the big 3 w/ all 0ga but no new alt. im driving a 99 jeep grand cherokee (4.7 V8) so whatever alt i have in that (just replaced w/ oem alt). any advice on which battery would give this amp the power it needs?

And I wouldn't run the audiopipe at 16 volts anyway. under construction I hate People with crappy primered cars rolling on hubcaps that are louder then me. u hate c-fizzy?

And I wouldn't run the audiopipe at 16 volts anyway. not true if you can get your stock alt to charge to 18 volts. but your electrical system in your car will need a step down moduale Suburban Coming Soon
