nooooob question, cant really find a cut and dry answer, so here it goes...

i have two 10" fosgate p3's playing in (give or take just a little) 1.6'.... followed the box advisor on thier site, is my F3 what i should be "tuned" at?

witch would be a HIGH ASS 51hz

Tuning a sealed box is just a matter of changing the size, depends on Vas, QTS, and Fs of the driver. A good box calculator would have options for sealed boxes as well.

for a Qtc, you would generally want it to be at about .707 for a "balanced" output between quality and loudness.

.707 is butterworth

there is also, linkwitz riley, chebyshev, bessel and brickwall...multiple ways to tune an enclosure depending on your goals

yeah man. 51hz ... kinda made me raise an eyebrow, but i have em in a temporarly in a trans line box while i finish my center console up and shit plays pretty damn low! so im not gonna cry too much about it.

I was going to say...my subs only play to 35Hz...my midbass play 51hz with gusto all day long. 51hz is easy for earbuds...if you want it tuned lower make the enclosure larger...probably about .95 for a 40Hz F3
