Superjay Posted December 18, 2010 Report Share Posted December 18, 2010 the former is the thing the voice coil is wrapped around...it's the paper, kapton or aluminum tube with the wire on it. only the wire part is the voice coil. The former is glued to the cone (diaphragm), usually with thick black epoxy. The way you made it sound earlier is you have the crossover on your amp turned down way too low. I think im actually going to just leave it out until i get the T1500 and can tune it myself or with someones help who knows what they are doing. I am just going to throw the P1s back in because if they get trashed im not really out much.
