Dan2427 Posted December 17, 2010 Report Share Posted December 17, 2010 So I bought two level 5 18s that are dual 2 ohm which will be perfect for when I get my other 3500 so I can hook up them up at 1 ohm to each amp. Can I wire them up each at 1 ohm now then go to each of the terminals since the amp has 4 terminals or will that still bring it to a .5 ohm load in the end anyway? bassl0va Posted December 18, 2010 Report Share Posted December 18, 2010 Yes, those terminals will be internally connected so you can wire them like that to get 0.5 ohms. I'm probably going to get flamed again for saying this, but I don't really think you should run it at 0.5 ohms. If you have good electrical and you really want to, you can. Someone with the proper knowledge and experience wouldn't ask so its safe to assume you don't have the knowledge or experience. Your choice, I run lower ohm loads all the time, but thats one of the reasons I have viagra stiff electrical Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you? I know these subs will be perfect when I get my second amp.
