Dylank811 Posted December 20, 2010 Report Posted December 20, 2010 Alright, I've been workin on my mom to get some rumble in the trunk and she says she's interested, but it has to be functional. So here's my idea, I'm thinkin a box for one 12" that fills the gap from the rear seats up to the spare tire. Then she's still got most of the trunk for groceries/whatever and can still get to her spare. Dynamat might be on the to do list too. I'll post a pic of the trunk later. I need some equipment suggestions though... I was thinking that the stock head unit should stay in because it's kinda built into the dash. An aftermarket one that's not an expensive ass touchscreen would look stupid. -3sixty processor -12" P3 -P500 This stuff is a little pricey for her though, so if there's some better options/ideas, please share! I also thought of using the tactile transducer. bassHZ Posted December 20, 2010 Report Posted December 20, 2010 wow i usually frown upon camrys but this one looks clean and for the build i would go down a less expensive route by using LOC line out converter then just hook up an amp kit a nice mono block but the p3s are nice solid woofers all though u can probably get something better from audioque for the same price

I'll take a look at audioque too. So the LOC will allow me to control the sub separate from the speakers? Or just make a clean way to splice in the RCA's with the rear speakers? As I said to the guy at the bottom, I also just realized that I can run a bass knob. honestly i wouldnt put in the 360.2 yet.. youd be way better off getting her new door speakers and rears with the 12 and get her a mids/highs amp also. save your money on the 360.2 for now. I didn't plan on starting with the speakers just because the one's in there now sound pretty damn good as they are. 94retta(219) Posted December 20, 2010 Report Posted December 20, 2010 yeah on my moms g6 the speakers sound good till they get turned up then they just distort like crazy. id look and see if the h/u has rca outs on it.. if it does then you just saved alot of work and money. but i can almost promise your going to wana change the stocks out. Dylank811 Posted December 20, 2010 Author Report Posted December 20, 2010 Yeah they'll go eventually but they already go to earpiercing volume with the bass all the way up playing heavy bass music without distorting. So with the sub in I'd probably cut the bass down to flat or a little higher and it would be plenty loud for her.
