Loud Avalanche Posted December 22, 2010 Author Report Share Posted December 22, 2010 Each sub is about 11 cft .the subs have extra stiff spiders.DD subs love large boxes but also I don't have to have 10000 watts to each sub with a box this big.I only have about 4500 watts each per sub. fecupe2001 Posted December 22, 2010 Report Share Posted December 22, 2010 yeah i know a little bit about DD already, just thought it was 25 c/f AFTER displacement, i would have used around 9 c/f per sub but that´s just me, defenitly every sub is different, my 3518´s doesn´t like a box over 7.5 cubic feet per sub hehe, cheers!! Loud Avalanche Posted December 22, 2010 Author Report Share Posted December 22, 2010 The last box I did using 9518g subs were in 9 cft per sub and they loved it.The neo's I have now need more space based on talking to super Steve from DD.It's always easier to shrink the box later than have to rebuild it bigger. Well, i bought the subs very cheap with moderated use, one of them was used for burps acttually so i took some risks buying it, BUT, they are working perfect, sounds very clean, loud and take TONS of abuse, i can demo the car all day long without having a single problem with them, i just have to recharge my batteries a few times but that´s another story. Anyways, yes they are very loud, best subs i´ve ever had!!! I love those Looks like alotta port But other than that I love it.. Awesome design, Very nice..
