fecupe2001
I don´t believe the 12 years old part, and yes i would use a single amp for the subs, why going with 3 amps? i´m with my boy TeamHT on this one, an AQ2200.1 would be great option! I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains. nCOMP1337
i too think the one aq2200 would be better, i think it does more than rated based on electrical, 700rms per sub is not bad either, and with good electrical im sure you could get more than that out of it

Jeremy1998
I have to ask, do you even have the electrical for 4500 watts? Because that WILL require a ho alternator and extra bateries. If you don't have a good electrical, I would forget it. A good alt will set you back at least $500 Well, it is hard to find alternators for his car, so I will most likely have to get a custom made one from like Iraggi or DC Power. I am also going to have 2 XS Power D2400's in the back dedicated almost entirely to the subs. Do you think those batteries would be enough? And how many amps do you think a good alternator for this should have? 12yrs old huh...? Yea I call bs on that... I call on your bs! Do ya need a picture of my face? To the op: what goals are you trying to acomplish? Spl?, sq? We could help you out beter if you specified them GREAT! SQ but with a nice amount of bang. byers319
So let me get this right.. Your 12, can't even drive for another couple years, can't work so you have no income, yet your "getting" three subs, three amps, two batteries, and a H/O alt. Hmm.. bobmcbob_345
Well 4500 watts at let's say, 13.6 volts, that would be pulling around 330 amps. And amps are not 100% eficient and you need headroom for the rest of the cars electronics. Let's say everything pulls 5500 watts total, you would need 405 amps at 13.6 volts. So that is alot of power. As for your goal, a single sub will prevail on sq.
Guest
why the hell was this thread even created? why do you want to waste your grandpas money for your own entertainment? you cant even drive the car around for another 3-4 years. are you just going to sit in the car in the driveway and piss all your neighbors off? you're 12. do 12 year old things like play COD and bother people on there rather than waste money on something you cant even fully enjoy.
