I still need to figure the tuning of the prefeb sitting in my garage, 2.7^3' for a single 12", should be tuned ~38hz but who knows. I'll still only build my own boxes now. EricM9104
Ditch that box when you get the DC XL 12". When you get the DC and AP 1500, do 2.5cubes @ 33hz. IH8PunkRok
i dont see a build.. just a video and 1 picture seems there are a lot of people who dont get the concept of a build log anyway, nothing wrong with a budget build. ive noticed with low power cheap equipment you can bang on it all day and not care at all. its kinda fun Quote -Matt2005 Dodge Magnum RTJVC KD-AVX1 2 PPI S580.2 Obsidian Audio ST1 Horn Tweeters PRV 8MB450s Audio Legion 3500.1D 2 RE MT 18s 360 ah LiFePO4 BatterySHCA 2/0 155.2 @ 29 hzKicker CVR 15's buildDD 3512e buildMini T-Line Build(6) 8s BuildNightshade 15s Wall BuildMagnum AB XFL 12s BuildNewest Magnum Build
Ryeguy28
i dont see a port on that but i see some sort of tweeter on the bottom right. if thats the port then i will feel sad its a slim port on the far right .... it instantly makes the sub put out 200db on the dash ... the tweeter on the bottom right is whats playing all the mids and highs .... the guy that sold it to me said it could break glass lol Ditch that box when you get the DC XL 12". When you get the DC and AP 1500, do 2.5cubes @ 33hz. i will then ... its not to much of a pita to make a box ... plus my grandpa has every wood working tool you can think off ... yeah i want a lower tuned box like that ... i feel like i am missing out on alot ... especaly on hypnotized by young jeezy ... Ryeguy28
lol ... well to be honest ... even though it would not be the honest thing to do ... im thinking about taking it back to ABC warehouse rofl ... because i found a used RF p3 for 129$ in a homemade box tuned to 30hz ... or just order lower level DC or a FI X and make a damn box lol its not really a tweeter its the brand badge Edited December 29, 2010 by Ryeguy28 Quote Vehicle: 1996 Chevy Prizm Amplifiers: Dual Xpa6100(Sub) Enclosure: BassWorks 2.5ish sealed Mids/Highs: Polk 6.5"s and polk 4"s Subwoofers: RockFord Fosgate 15" Wire:8gauge Future Upgrades:Amp, another 15" , Big #
