Ford302Redneck Posted December 31, 2010 Report Posted December 31, 2010 You can put a 6.5 inch round driver in a 5x7 hole? Can't do it without fiberglass.. You sure you can't do it without fiberglass? I sure can. I've used homemade mdf adapters several times. Quote
skittlesRgood Posted December 31, 2010 Report Posted December 31, 2010 the easiest way i see for you to get bass is to replace the back speakers with 5x7 or 6.5" subs. these are the cheapest i found that go below 50hz. http://www.woofersetc.com/p4848/M6--CDT-Audio-65"-300-Watt-MidBass-SubBass-Drivers.htm Quote If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. Alex K Posted December 31, 2010 Report Posted December 31, 2010 Mid range drivers are not meant to pay bass, which is why subwoofers have been invented. All that will happen is you will blow something. Last time i checked I don't want my sub playing over 8O Hz. Quote 2006 Nissan Z Track.
