Sanitarium
The fact of the matter is. 99% of people willing to or wanting to be a part in creating such a show will be extremly biased to their own product. Ed here would push T3 no matter what. Steve Meade would push RF everything but subs (and possibly subs too). Etc etc. And that my friends, is not something I would watch. However, if the shows featured say.. interviews with random people > truely random people from the car audio world, and pictures of truely random installs, I would watch it. But we all know deep down that this will never happen.
hdorre
I miss the show, "Trick It Out." It's about 2 teams getting the sane cars, but customizing them in a certain time frame. The winning team gets both cars. I'd actually want general sponsors and not car audio companies for my idea. That way when I go to shows and other shops, we can show what they have in their rides and stores. The sponsors would make a difference. But even you with a more broad view of what's good would still be biased to say.. 10 brands. Going to shops that feature those 10 brands, etc.
Freshman6969
I like OverHaulin's style. I was talking to those producers for my idea but it's a no go. maybe if someone else wants to step up. My next pick is to present to Funk Flex since I was on Car Wars once. bullshit! i want proof! Going to shops that feature those 10 brands, etc. It depends on how the producers wanted to do it. But in my idea, It basically was a travel show mixed with monster garage and pinks and revolving around Audio. So the weekly challengers would be picked based of their status and vehicle. For instance, week 1 would be a local competitor on the East Coast that wins every show in the area, and the vehicle is maybe a low 150 dB non wall car. Then the following week is in another state to challenge a guy that is a regional champion with a mid 150 dB level non wall car. Then the 3rd week is against a former champion that has a legendary 160 dB walled vehicle from back in the day. And so on and so on. Brands never come into play in the decisions of the show. I was on the Pink team with our leader and my friend Vicky. We won. They cut me off camera but I installed all the RazorLites on the car.
