speedball1978 Posted January 2, 2011 Report Posted January 2, 2011 to gain more power instead of junkin 1 amp to buy a bigger amp.. you can strap 2 RF 2500's for 5000 watts of power but only at 2 ohms instead of 1 ohm.. but there's lots of variables. so if you already have one big amp and you want more power, buy another.. and strap em together .. but pointless they got amps big enough to make ya dookie.. lol

Im not doin it right? if you have 1 sub and you have a 2k amp, and get another 2k then yeah i see the point in strapping. But if you have 2 subs, and 2 2k amps, i see no reason other than shiggles to strap them. They work fine each on their own sub. 2006 Nissan Z Track. speedball1978 Posted January 2, 2011 Report Posted January 2, 2011 lol no i never said more power but if someone only had one 4500 sundown.. and needed another 4500 watt of power.. they just buy another one and strap em for a 2 ohm load at 9000 watts.. thats considered more power than 2 amps seperately at 2 ohms each?? right or wrong?? i know i'm right on this!!!
