pthrift Posted January 6, 2011 Report Share Posted January 6, 2011 (edited) I've had 4 DC XL-18's for a while now; but I have been procrastinating on rebuilding my truck and getting them put in. Well I finally got started on the rebuild and am ready to build a box; so I thought I'd give the folks at DC a call and see what I could find out about specs on a box. So I call the number from their contact info thread. I got no answer. I just figured they were closed and I'd have to call back tomorrow. About 3 minutes later I get a call back from none other than Rusty (the man himself!) So I'm telling him about the vehicle (tahoe) and power I have and what-not; and without even telling him any measurements I've taken or anything; he instantly starts spitting out dimensions and within about 10 minutes; I have a completely designed box and just have to go to the wood shop and get to cutting. Not to mention he told me to give him a call after I get it built and let him know how I'm liking it. wow. Not many places care about after-the-sale enough to want to know how I'm liking the product long after the sale. thanks rusty! If you don't want great customer service, and a product that is great, then you probably shouldnt go with DC... Lets see some pics man... I'd like to do a build log; but I do 90% of my work alone; and I can never seem to remember to stop and take pictures while i'm working. lol. but i'll see if i can muster up enough pics to do a build log.
