People have clamped test the hifi 2500 and it did 1k-1400 rms at 1 ohm 14v. Now, the Brutus line have been clamped to do rated, not the hifi line sorry . Unless you clamped it outlaw I won't believe it does 2krms. Here's my experience, my first was amp a performance teknique 5000 watt max! it even said on the true rms stating that it does 2Krms at 1 ohm. was loud, dimming the hell outa my lights. sold that 2 bills, got a hifonics brutus 1600. direct swap same subs and all. MUCH louder ! little to no dimming lights, but it was louder than the 5kwattmax/2krms fake amp. so would you say that the amp draining the shit out my batt and rated way higher is better and pull out more power than the little 1.6k amp with no dimming? guimond47 Posted January 11, 2011 Author Report Posted January 11, 2011 okay guys i did my home work and the AQ shipped to canada with a 0 gauge wireing kit and a 4 farad cap is in the 600$ range..... i can get a HIFONICS BRZ 2400.1D with the cap 4 farad and 0 gauge kit for 420$ shipped to CAN. you think that HIFONICS BRZ 2400.1D will be able to push my 3 type R's at 1.3 ohm. that HIFONICS BRZ 2400.1D is cea complient sooo its the new line up of the brutus 2010.... let me know i cant afford more than 450$...
