OldsBoomer Posted January 10, 2011 Report Posted January 10, 2011 done it.. my blowthru box was like that but i very slightly angled the subwoofer baffles. you have to much port area try to cut it done to close to 15-16.5 per cube you'll move plenty of air. also have fun mounting those bitches.... i had only 4 12's to put in.. yet the opening i had to crawl in was 13"H by 11 wide it took me 2+ hours to mount the subs with bolts Quote Suburban Coming Soon

Boon Posted January 10, 2011 Report Posted January 10, 2011 It would work like a series tuned 6th order bandpass. You want a large volume and smaller ports on the 'inside' chamber, that way you can play the low note through the high tuned chamber at the 'front'. That's what I learnt from 'Professor' or whatever his name was, and that guy does like 155s at 22hz or something stupid. Quote 10.x volts fo' life!
