First design. Be Easy

Hey guys this is my first post here but have been browsing for some time now. I have designed a box for 1 18 either the Sundown z .2 series 18 or the T3 T.2000 but thats for another time. My reason for posting is to get opinions on the box I designed. Im wondering if the ports will work like this? Also if this is ok woofer placement. Im going to be adding 45*s, dowel rod bracings, and maybe some fiberglassing.

Im here to learn so if you see flaws please let me know so i can learn.

This will be going in the trunk of a 2000 grand marquis and powered by either a 2200 or Hifonics brutus 2600

id have placed the ports on the same side for efficiency sake

Thanks i was hoping to learn info like this. Should i then move the sub to the opposite side of the ports or keep it in the middle?

if you put the ports exiting the right side of the box I'd move the sub to the right as well so all the air move toward the end of the ports.

should be fine where it's at. At most id move it more away from the ports, but dont let the ports get in the way of the sub. Put both ports in the same side, and im guessing youre not flaring those? Cause you should, or atleast a little.

And for flaring the ports i thought about it but i couldnt come up with any ideas i was planning on just using PVC Pipe, also flare on both ends or just exiting?

Ok say i wanted to do flares do you guys have any ideas or meathods.

can buy them or melt your pvc

Could i just router the edges of the port with a rounded bit
