Andyvader
Ok, so i live in michigan and its been dropping down to almost 0 degrees at night. When i first get in my car in the morning it will run at 15.3-15.4 and ive even saw it hit 15.5 sometimes. Does cold weather inprove voltage? i have a stock 200 amp alt, 3 runs of 1/0, and a D2700 in the back. Ive checked my rear battery with a voltemeter to see if my stinger meter is accurate and im coming up with the same 15.3 ratings. Once im driving for a while it tends to stay at about 15.2-15.3. I mean...im not complaining that im running this high, but is it gunna hurt my car's stock electrical if theyre seeing this kind of voltage? Ive just never really seen people have this type of resting voltage at idle, even with heat on full blast and my high beams on. Any input appreciated, im here to learn. Thanks -andy 2006 Malibu Maxx SS 4 sa 12's D2 2 audiopipe 3k's 4 UPS batteries 2 runs of 0awg Walled at 34hz How does a sport like this do in tough economic times? Just fine. bigbodylexus
Rejoice that it's up there , colder temps, higher revving while warming up, all attribute to it. I wouldn't get concerned until you started seeing 16v and above 1990 Chevy Suburban (Big Booty Judy) (4) Sundown Audio Zv5 18's (1) Sundown Audio Salt 12K (1) Sundown Audio SAX-100.4 (1) Sundown Audio SAE-50.4 (2) Crossfire ST-1 Tweeters (2) Obsidian Audio ST-1 tweeters (4) Sundown Audio Neo Pro v3 6.5's Saving 2nd Bass
