pk222
hey guys. I'm in the market for an alarm for my 97 mustang. So far i've been quoted $220 installed for an omega alarm with keyless entry siren and hood plunger. And I was quoted $250 for an autopage alarm that has the same as the last plus a trunk pop and a 2 way pager. I don't remember the model numbers on either of the alarms but those are the options. The autopage seems a lot nicer but its from a shop I've never dealt with. What do you guys think?
pk222
the reason the pin for the hood is important is because my latch doesn't work and theres only pins holding the hood.

TeamHT
A budget would help. Without a budget i would say I love my Viper 5902 Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
pk222
around 250 would be nice but I'm trying to pick something I can get installed somewhat locally. My choices under a 2 hour drive are omega compustar, autopage and code. I think on of the shops had viper but their shop has horrible reviews and the guy didn't seam to know anything he was talking about

pk222
I live about an hour south of stockton in california. I asked about buying my own alarm and having it installed but they said theyd charge me a lot because it wasn't bought from them and they might not even do it since it wasn't their brand
