bass_stalker Posted January 16, 2011 Author Report Posted January 16, 2011 Running the amp with a Jumper is fine, I like the idea of power tapping the fuse for the headlights or any other switched 12v fuse/power source. BUT do it properly. Don't wrap the wire around the leg of the fuse or jam it into the fuse panel etc... buy a power tap wire device/connector. they sell them at autozone, and they wont spread apart the contacts inside the fuse panel. (this could cause connection problems) well i was either gonna run it off of a 12v cigarette plug or from the battery but i think 400watts is a little too much for the plug because the most Ive seen of 1 was 350 watts. so im gonna run directly to the battery and just get an inline fuse on it. I've researched it and found what loads you can pull off of it. and for my original question it didn't matter what it was going on because it would be the same thing no matter where it was going.
