SPL Gains!! Updates @page 30 (routing the port)

I dont´t have much updates because it´s raining like hell and score could be affected too much with this humidity, but here it goes

Flaring the port internally:

I got some screws on that flare to secure it properly but i didn´t take any pics, anyways, new score, is not much but a gain is a gain

I also got some screws on the external flare after this last burp, but once again, because of the weather i prefer to burp tomorrow, i hope i can gain another tenth by doing this:

hey man i love this thread!! it actually inspired me to get a term lab of my own and start messing with stuff.

i was reading on the first page about your 45s and the pvc in the pressure points.

so i have 45s in the points that do not lead to the port and you said you saw a significant lose by adding those then gains a significant amount my putting the 4" pvc in the points (well i think the one leading directly to the port) is this correct? lol imma start playing with it this weekend and see if i see similar gains from adding the round over into the port

dude thats amazing... a 146 with the the DD 12 =P i got a 9515.. and i wanna make a box strictly for spl later this year, hope to hit that good =) haha holy sht thats alomst a 150 in trunk which is hard azzz fuuuuc with just that 12 thats something to brag about =)

Yes sir, you got that right, 45´s on presure points of the box helps a lot on the sensor (not to your ears) , but i hurts the score a lot if you place them were you aren´t supposed to, no need for a Termlab if you don´t care that much about numbers, if that´s the case, you can always find an old audiocontrol, they aren´t that precised but they sure can help you out!!

I care about numbers and hate going and tracking down a meter lol its annoying so i just got my own to fuck with..

Thanks man, you got my PM???? the box broked a little bit and score dropped 0.7 dbs, i tried to fix it but the score isn´t the same , so i ditched the box and i´m gonna build it again as soon as my aeros arrive this week, man i´m pretty sure we can get a few tenths more than we talked about at the beggining, i´m sure we can get a 148 out of that thing

anyways, in the meantime, i´m working with this couple of boxes until i build the new one this weekend, any input that you want to share with me so i can test it on the TL?? i don´t want this topic to end just yet, but i´m almost done with any ideas , i´ve tested lots of things already hehe, cheers mate!!
