ryderonthestorm Posted January 19, 2011 Report Posted January 19, 2011 Okay I am looking to upgrade my beat and I am looking into picking up a DC 18 to replace my BTL 18 (will be for sale soon as I get the pics btw). But I am not sure which one I should go with. I am thinking either the XL or lvl 5. I am going to be throwing 2 Sundown 2000's strapped at it. Yes I will have the electrical to back it up. DC alt, yellow top under the hood and D3100 in the trunk, big 3 right now. But by the time I put in the sundowns I will have the under the hood battery upgraded to a D3400 and another D3100 in the trunk. I am thinking the lvl 5, only because I know I will upgrade again in the near future. But will 4000+ watts be enough for this beast? I only ask because I have heard the XL's will sound better at that wattage. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks guys. A Level 5 would be a great way to go.
