I used one of these STINGER-SCB50-CIRCUIT-BREAKER.jpg an then one of these AUTOLEADS-G2-24.jpg before the amps, does this sound good???

is that a battery isolator? if so get rid of it, it will drop your volts like your **** in the sight of a chick with hariy pits

aww no, the guy giving advice about wiring doesn't know what a circuit breaker is... <_<

although I still wouldn't be using a circuit breaker! I really don't like them for high powered systems.

circuit breakers are fantastic....until you trip them a few times...then they tend to handle less and less current until finally the won't stay locked in the on position. Get a GOOD one and expect to replace it in a year. I prefer those over a fuse though.

Are the Rockford's c.b.'s any good?

They recommend a 140 Amp fuse for the 1000's, I can't find them and run a 125 AMP ANL inline fuse.

I am trying to get rid of them but it still will be a nice little addition for the sale.

running 2 70A fuses in parallel will be the same as one 140A fuse...it's always better to underfuse than to over fuse, but a single 125A ANL that doesn't blow means you aren't getting enough current to your amp. so your charging system might be lacking, or you're underwired, or a bad ground...either way you have an issue

could be too that he isnt pushing as much power as he thinks, maybe he has yet to unlock the full potential :D plus a lot of fuses wont blow for a good time above there rated power, depends on the fuse I guess :D
