AMI CUSTOMS Posted January 21, 2011 Report Share Posted January 21, 2011 (edited) I would think so, the 10 and 20 amp settings are nice if you have a big battery bank, cuz you would be charging for a week on 6+ group 31 agm's at 2 amp rate. And if you think you would be using the 10 amp setting then get the next size up, cuz this charges like all charges get hot, if you are running it at the limit the more stress you are putting on the charger. And thanks Skittles for the ?'s learned alot from the answers you got. Also AMI, how long you think that one you linked would take to charge my bank, 8 Kinetik 2000's? Its been about 2 months since they were last on a charger? Or is there a bigger one you recommend? EDIT. JUST GOT THIS CHARGER AND IT WORKS LIKE A CHARM! I have one, it is actually one of there older models like 4 yr old, but does all the same as this one. It has an AGM setting and slow 2 amp charge. will this work for 16v batteries ? powermaster d1000's??
