Shifted motors, misaligned top plates?

Sup guys, just looking for some subwoofer motors that are shifted to where a coil wont line up in the motor gap- This means subs that the cone is frozen- wont budge when you force the cone back and forth, or if visually noticeable

I made a realigning jig, and works fine, just need motors to start messing with, and fixing

post here, pics and comments

Iam looking to spend about $15+ shipping on up- depending on the motor of course

I wont spend no more than maybe $60, and thats gotta be something like a Fi BTL, or something very useful

I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.

We might have to try out that jig of yours one day soon

not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it. :)

Yep those Bill

Ford, I cant show how it works with out charging money right? lol

Iam trying to make some money from this haha

Well, without de-maging the magnet using a $10,000+ magnet charger, the only other way was to use clamps to hold the top plate in place and let the glue set in. The jig, If I can get it finalized, and working with about all motors, then it will be a part of my services on my website, or for local.

The motor cant have a frame on it, so this doesn't help the people with the woofers that are perfectly fine, except for a pinched coil

I've got a motor with a shifted top plate, its a MA audio hard core (big mufugga!). I actually have two good ones (blown) too that need some drop in recones. I'll send you the motor and the 12" TI basket for a discount on two drop in recones. You can use the motor and basket I send you to mock them up. Email me if your interested Ken.

It's all gone!
